First of Many: A New Chapter for Members in Jylland and Fyn

After a couple of years with very few happenings for our members living in Jylland and on Fyn, we once again seized the torch on Monday the 5th of May, where we met at Restaurant Komfur in Aarhus C as the beginning of a time where there will be more focus on the western part of the country.

The concept was simple: everybody brought a bottle of wine, and the association sponsored the food. Sometimes it can be hard to limit oneself, so the number of bottles exceeded the 18 participants—which just meant that there were a lot of good bottles, and a couple of blind ones, to enjoy.

After a short briefing by myself, everybody introduced themselves, where they worked in the country, and which wine they had brought. Luckily, there were both brand-new members, older and really old (read: Kim Thygesen), which gave a really good energy at the tables.

The purpose of the meeting was basically to strengthen the unity among the members from Jylland and Fyn, and we agreed on meeting 3–4 times a year and focusing both on the social and the educational part.

The torch has been lit and the race is on. We are looking forward to the upcoming meetings.
